Due to its strategic location on the very best viewpoint in this part of the Andes, a vast number of activities are available to our guests in the immediate surroundings of the lodge.

You may want to hike on nearby Isla Pescado/Incahuasi island, or visit exotic salt harvesting & processing plants.

• As its name describes, our Hotel de Sal (spanish for Salt Hotel) is almost entirely made of pure salt from the Uyuni Salt Flats, and is located near the village of Tahua, on the foothills of Thunupa volcano, only 110 km away from the town of Uyuni.
• The hotel faces the Salt Flats and offers overwhelming views over the surrounding desert of 12,000 square Km.
• Capacity : only 47 guests.

Numerous other activities are oriented towards nature and ancient cultures such as a visit to Pukara Chillima viewpoint and Huayjala Canyon in the immediate surroundings.

A number of unique natural and cultural sites are available in the surroundings, such as active volcanoes, the caves of Cueva Galaxia with astonishing rock formations sculpted by nature over the millenia, and precolumbian sites showing the life and death of the ancient dwellers of this part of the Andes.

• "El Hotel de Piedra" (spanish for Hotel of the Rocks) is made of volcanic rock, and is located on the Southern border of the Uyuni Salt Flats, only 170 km from the city of Calama, Chile.
• The design of the hotel is inspired by the picturesque environment on the side of which is has been built : an ancient village dating back to precolumbian times.
• Capacity : only 47 guests.

Activities range from easy (eg. gentle walks around the lagoons) to difficult (such as mountain climbing up to the top of Llicancahur Volcano, over 5,868 m.a.s.l.).

• "El Hotel del Desierto" (spanish for Hotel of the Deserts) is only 40 minutes away from the Red Lagoon (Laguna Colorada), amidst a beautiful scenery of high Andean desert landscapes.
• This site is accessible from Uyuni (220 km) and San Pedro de Atacama, Chile (200 km).
• The main attractions in the area are Laguna Colorada and Laguna Verde, as well as the volcanic fumes of Sol de Maņana, thus providing our guests with a great number of activities to choose from while staying at the lodge.
• Capacity : only 47 guests.

Access is possible from Uyuni (230 km) and Tupiza (130 km), as well as from San Pedro de Atacama, Chile (300 km) and La Quiaca, Argentina (230 km).

• "El Hotel de los Volcanes" (spanish for Hotel of the Volcanos) is surrounded by the outstanding scenaries of the protected area of Reserva de Flora y Fauna Andina (REA National Park).
• The hotel faces the scenic marshlands of Quetena Grande with Uturunco Volcano (over 6,000 m.a.s.l.) in the background, thus providing overwhelming views over the entire region and countless possibilities of excursions in the surroundings.
• Capacity : only 47 guests.
